Here you can edit additional setting for when a Customer places an Order.

We will:

Setup a discounted Happy Hour time

Edit Notifications for you and for customers

Configure Mailchimp to collect user information

To edit your Other settings:

  1. Go to your shop admin dashboard.
  2. Select Shop Details from the left sidebar to open the Shop Details tab.

Then, scroll down the page to the Other section.

Setup Discounted Happy Hour Times

You can setup a discounted Happy Hour time. Customers will get a discount if they place an Order during this time period. You can set it to only work on certain days or for a certain range of days.

Click the Edit button to edit your store’s Happy Hour.

This opens the Happy Hours sidebar.

Set the Times of Day the Happy Hour is Active

Set the time the Happy Hour should start in the Hour Start field.

Set the time the Happy Hour should end in the Hour End field.

Set the Days the Happy Hour Should be Active

Select the active Happy Hour days from the Days dropdown by clicking the day. You can remove a day by clicking its X.

Set the Happy Hour Discount Percentage

Enter the percentage amount of discount the Customer should receive during the Happy Hour in the Discount percentage field.

Set the Dates Range the Happy Hour is Active

You can set a range of days the Happy Hour is active by clicking the advanced options link.

Set the day the Happy Hour should start in the Active from field.

Set the day the Happy Hour should end in the Active to field.

Save your Happy Hour by clicking the Create button.

Edit Notifications for You and Your Customers

You can receive Notifications when actions are completed on your website. You can also create an email template to send to Customers when they purchase from your POS.

Click the Edit button to edit your Notifications.

This opens the Notifications sidebar.

Turn Notifications On and Off

Order received (merchant)

You can set an Email to be sent to You when an order is Received. The notification is sent to your Admin email address.

Stocks alert limits (merchant)

You can set an Email to be sent to You when your product stock levels reach set limits. The notification is sent to your Admin email address.

Order received email (customer)

You can set an Email to be sent to the Customer when their order is received. The notification is sent to the Customer’s defined email address.

Order received SMS (customer)

You can set an SMS to be sent to the Customer when their order is received. The notification is sent to the Customer’s defined phone number.

Order status changed SMS (customer)

You can set an SMS to be sent to the Customer when their order is status is changed. The notification is sent to the Customer’s defined phone number.

Order assigned to driver SMS (driver)

You can set an SMS to be sent to your Delivery driver when an order is assigned to them. The notification is sent to the Driver’s defined phone number.

Create an Order Receipt sent when Point of Sale orders are placed.

This email receipt is sent Manually by the cashier from the POS. When not customized, the default values will be used for the email.

The actual receipt PDF is also attached to the email.

Define a Subject and Body for customer receipt emails sent from the point-of-sale app. You can use the Placeholders available to automatically enter Customer and Order details in to the email.

Text, images, links, and videos can all be added using the WYSIWYG Editor. You can also view the source code of the Content to add your own code.

Enter your Subject in the Order receipt email subject template field.

Enter your email Body in the Order receipt email body template field.

Save your Notifications by clicking the Apply button.

Configure Mailchimp to Collect Customer Information

You can setup our Add-on for the popular email marketing tool Mailchimp to gather information about your customers. You can then send Marketing materials to your customers through Mailchimp.

Click the Configure button to edit the Mailchimp Add-on.

This opens the Mailchimp configuration sidebar.

Add Your Mailchimp API Information

Mailchimp gathers information about your customers through a connection to Shuup called an API.

You can find your previously setup API information from your Mailchimp admin here.

You can find out how to setup a new Mailchimp API here https://mailchimp.com/help/about-api-keys/.

Enter your Mailchimp API key in the API Key field.

Enter the Mailchimp List to use to gather the information in the List ID field.

Enter your Mailchimp Username in the Username field.

You can turn the Mailchimp Add-on on and off by clicking the Enabled switch.

Publish your Mailchimp configuration by clicking the Save button.
