Adding a new Page

First you will see your list of pages. Click the New page button to add a new page.

You can also click an existing page to edit its details. There are options to sort, filter, and search so you can find the page you are looking for.

Editing General Information

On the left side you will see the New Page tab menu. Click General Information to edit the page’s general settings.

The first setting is the Title of the page. The page Title is displayed in the title bar of a web browser and is used in google search. Enter the name of your page such as ‘About Us’.

The next setting is the URL of the page. The URL is the web address of the page. This will be automatically filled in with your page Title you entered. You can edit it as you wish. Spaces are not allowed, instead use dashes (-) or underscores (_).

Next, you will edit the actual page Content. Text, images, links, and videos can all be added using the WYSIWYG Web Builder for Content. You can also view the source code of the Content to add your own code.

Editing the Page’s Online Availability

Next you will edit the page’s Availability including whether it shows in menus, and for what time frame. Click Availability to edit the page’s availability settings.

You can set the page as Visible in menu by selecting or deselecting the option. This will show a link to the page in the top main menu of your site. Some pages, such as a privacy policy page, are generally not shown in the top menu of a site. They are usually added as links in the footer.

Next you can set the dates for which the page is available online.

You can set a page to become live at a later date by setting an Available from date.  Select an Available from date from the calendar picker.

You can set a page to disappear at a certain date by setting an Available to date. Select an Available to date from the calendar picker.

For a page that is permanent, you can leave these options blank.

Extra Page Options

Next, you will edit the page’s Extras settings. Click Extras to edit the page’s extra settings.

The Parent option lets you set the new page as a sub-page or sub-category of another page. To set the page as a sub-page, select the parent page from the Parent dropdown.

List children on page will show sub-pages of this new page at the bottom of the new page.  This works only if the new page is a Parent page of a sub-page. Select or deselect the option List children on page.

Show child page timestamps will show the date the sub-page was created under the title of the sub-page on this new page. This only works if the List children on page option is selected. Select or deselect the option Show child page timestamps.

The Internal identifier can be set and used in templates to create URLs. This is automatically filled based on your URL you set in General Information.

Remember to click the Save button to publish your page and changes.
